PV Solar Energy in the Navajo nation with 36MW Facility in Kayenta
Power Conversion is controlled by 10 GPTech WD3 Inverter Stations with 3,6MW capacity each, ready for the extreme desert conditions in the region.
The Kayenta Solar Facility is located on the Navajo Nation Reservation. With near to 118,000 photovoltaic panels mounted on single axis trackers, required surface is about 210 acres. The Arizona utility SRP will purchase the generated energy.
