Technological innovation is a key factor to get the know-how GPTech needs for the development of new solutions to achieve the best results on grid integration

GPTech invests over 12% of its annual income in R+D+i, and 40% of its personnel works in a Department entirely dedicated to this activity.
The importance we give to innovation is widely reflected on the considerable number of projects in which we participate each year. They are framed within four business lines that allow the development of the horizontal technology that will be applied to GPTech's strategic areas:
- PV energy, distributed energy
- Wind, control and efficiency
- Transport and Energy efficiency
- Energy, Flow control, Storage and Energy transport
To pay ongoing attention to all technological innovations interesting for our strategic areas, GPTech is part of different associations and technological platforms, among which ALINNE, the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) or Joint Technology Initiatives (JTI's) stand out.
